Starbucks

Hello again,
just wanted to throw down some Starbucks facts since we go there some much. For starters, if you go to Starbucks and order a Grande, ice chai latte 5 times a week for a year, 5 x $3.82 x 52 weeks = $993.20. wow, that’s almost a $1,000.00 dollars a year just on coffee. Here are some other cool facts that we found on the internet, www.starbucks.com
• Started in 1971 in Seattle’s Pike Place Market. Original name of company was Starbucks
Coffee, Tea and Spices, later changed to Starbucks Coffee Company.
• Stores
7,087 Company-operated stores in the US.
4,081 Licensed stores.
43 countries outside the United States.
• Provided 4.9 million hours of training for our store partners.
• Donated $36.1 million in cash and products.
• Volunteered 383,000 hours in our communities through our volunteer

including those purchased from approved suppliers through our own set of
social and environmental guidelines for producing, processing and buying
coffee (C.A.F.E. Practices) and Fair Trade cooperatives.
• Quadrupled our renewable energy purchase to equal 20 percent of the energy
used in our company-operated stores in the U.S. and Canada.
• Introduced the first-ever paper cup made with 10 percent post-consumer
recycled fiber which reduced our wood use by 11,300 tons – the equivalent of
78,000 trees – in the first year alone.

and recycling.
So, the next time we meet for any wedding consultation, guess where we’re going to choose, that’s right! the nearest Starbucks. for your concvience we have linked to the store locator to find the closest Starbucks near you click here Starbucks store locator.

Wedding Dress
Have you ever wondered why the wedding dress is white? well we did some research on the internet and this is what we found.
Â
A white wedding is a traditional formal or semi-formal Western wedding. The term refers to the white color of the wedding dress, which became popular in the Victorian era, after Queen Victoria wore a white lace dress at her wedding. Various theories for the meaning of this color choice have been put forward, from an appreciation of color symbolism, to represent purity of heart and the innocence of childhood, to an effort by the monarch to promote lace sales, to conspicuous consumption by status-conscious families, because a white dress could be easily damaged and was therefore common only among wealthy families. Later, it was believed that the color white symbolized virginity and should be worn only by a virgin bride.
There is an old poem about how the color of your wedding dress will influence your future:
“Married in white, you will have chosen all right. Married in grey , you will go far away. Married in black, you will wish yourself back. Married in red, you’ll wish yourself dead. Married in blue, you will always be true. Married in pearl, you’ll live in a whirl. Married in green, ashamed to be seen, Married in yellow, ashamed of the fellow. Married in brown, you’ll live out of town. Married in pink, your spirits will sink.”
choose wisely when you choose your dress, and no matter what the color or style dress, make sure to choose a dress that you feel good about, after all it’s your special day to be the star and shine.
aloha, we look forward to capturing you wedding day!
