Oshiro Family

by brady on Aug.28, 2010, under Family Portraits

Went to my cousins wedding today, and for the first-time in a long time, i got to enjoy the party, but i still had to do a little work. We got to take family portraits with my family. All the kids and grandkids got to take photos and we were all dressed for the occasion. It feels good to be in front of the camera and not behind it. These photos are perfect to be framed on my living room wall and will be good until we need to take another updated one.

Bonus Slideshow Below, got two versions with the same photos. experimenting with some new slideshow software.

Image Gallery: new blog re-design

by brady on Aug.18, 2010, under Image Gallery

Just updated the blog to a wider format, because we are photographers and we love photos, so why not show them off, right? We re-designed the blog to feature more of the photos and less typing and taking. We figure that we should let the images do all the work.

thanks for reading, Aloha Brady

Choosing a Wedding Photographer

by brady on Aug.14, 2010, under Photography 101, Resources, Weddings

Here’s some quick tips on how to choose a wedding a photographer when planning for your wedding. You should allow 10% of your wedding budget for photography on average most wedding packages range from $2500-$5000 some people spend more and some less.

Make sure that you like the photographer’s style from traditional, candid, and photojournalist or a little combination of everything.

last but not least, make sure you get along with your photographer, after all you will have to be with them all day long as they capture your special day. it’s going to be hard if you can’t communicate to your photographer what you want and special shots that you might desire.

Hope this helps, and happy hunting for your wedding photographer. remember we are always for hire, please contact us for your wedding quote.
