If you didn’t know what happened on 12.12.09 6000+ photographers in 60+ countries, took over 30,000 portraits and gave them away for free, that’s right, FREE.
Thank you to all the people that made this event happen. With over 40 volunteers, we touched 85 families and took over 300 portraits. this was a big hit for a first time event.
The best thing about it all, is that we got to see how photography can make a difference in someone’s life and how a photo can extended beyond tangible things and into people’s hearts. This was a big success, with many smiles and tears. Much mahalo’s to all the volunteers and the boys at in4mation for providing the location. looking to do this again, next year.
