Got to shoot a Japanese wedding, usually i don’t do weddings like this, But these guys were awesome, young and fun.
If you didn’t know i speak a little bit of 日本酒　(japanese). the cool thing about this wedding is that it was a friday, and we usually shoot only saturday weddings. while we were shooting at ala moana beach park, the sun was setting, and as i looked at diamond head, i remembered that they have fireworks at the hilton hawaiian. i asked the couple if they liked fireworks and wanted to get a cool photo. they were down for it so we did it, but the only problem was that i never got to do this type of shoot before, good thing i’ve done some long exposure and night photography. we only had one chance to get the shot, and this is what we got, i was pretty stoked on the images. i hope i get to shoot another friday wedding. if anyone wants to do a fireworks shoot for engagement or wedding, I’m down! contact me anytime! my contacts below.
